"The grass withers,
the flower fades;
but the word of God stands forever."
sometimes those rewards or gifts are so small, but so meaningful.
Let me share with you one of those small gifts.
I determined that I was going to spend the day in prayer. Oh, I still had to go to work, but every where I went and everything that I did I was praying. Praying for others. Praying for a truck driver I passed on the road. I drove a scissor lift through a warehouse praying as I drove.
On the way home I may have had a thought, “well maybe I am going overboard.” I had the radio on down low, it was tuned to a pop station. I was still praying though. I was praying for my wife, thanking God for her. (she is such a special lady, we been married for 38 years) Chaim, as soon as I finished the prayer, I mean the moment i did, then came the distinctive beginning of a particular song that I have not heard on a radio that dates back to when my wife and I first met, and danced to for the first time. Shena’s Eaton. “for your eyes only.” never heard it on the radio for years and there it was. It was a neat gift that the Lord gave me that moment and I thanked him. and I thank you for the message.
