Today’s preview study is on the letter Bet from Genesis 1:1.
This Saturday Chaim will be teaching on the festival “Simchat Torah”. A celebration on the last day of Sukkot of the completion of the year’s Torah portion cycle and the beginning of a new cycle of Torah study.
Next Saturday, Oct. 2nd, Chaim will begin the new Torah portion cycle, which he teaches every Saturday morning. All live classes are also recorded to view at any time. For many years I have been following Chaim’s letters. I even signed up, I believe, to do further studies but then came down with some physical disabilities that prevented me from doing so. I love his work and am always inspired by it.
In a week or so, I will be doing a study of the book of Genesis with my pastor at an Episcopal church near to me. Whatever I can find of Chaim’s reflections on Genesis will be a priority to me as I am interested in letting people know the original language of the text they are studying.
