Psalms 27:1: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall  I be afraid.”

Ok, it is confession time. I shall reveal to you one of my deepest darkest secrets. I have a school boy crush on Hillary Clinton.  I always have and I even voted for Bill Clinton because I figured any man with the luck to snag Hillary would most certainly be able to pass that luck on to our nation.

I know her politics do not really match up with mine, but as we all know,  love is blind. So you can imagine my aghast when I heard one of her aids say and I quote: “Hillary is going to become more human.” Well, I always figured she was not entirely human, there had to be a goddess part to her and so my first response was: “No, no do give that part up to become President.”  Then I began to think, how do I really know that non-human part is goddess, maybe she is secretly reptilian. I heard how they are changelings and come up from the bowels of the earth and take on human form among kings and princes. Then I had another thought.  Maybe she really is part alien.  You know on the 23^rd of September CERN will open a wormhole and release all the forces of hell and the planet Nibiru will pass by the earth releasing all the spaceships with the Nephilim, at the same time the Pope is scheduled to address Congress and the UN to announce a one world government on the same day that the 500 days before climate chaos predicted by the French Minister expires.  Perhaps they will set up Hillary as the leader of this government which would make my Hillary, groan, the antichrist. My study partner was right, I am a member of the elect who has been deceived. I even accepted a chip on my debit card.

Of course you know I am kidding (well, maybe not about the part of my school boy crush), but the statement an aid made is true that Hillary is going to be more human. Of course we all know that the aid only meant that she will show a more compassionate and caring side of her nature not that she is only half human. But you see my little rant is a perfect example of taking a word out of its context.

The words light and salvation are like this word human. You need to look at the context to really determine what the actual intended use of the word is. I specifically addressed the conspiracy theories because the word light is really being thrown around now more than at anytime in History as it plays a key role in the time and space continuum and we really need to focus on the ancient Hebraic meaning of the word.  Also the majority of the time I hear this verse quoted in Christians circles they are referencing salvation as our soul’s salvation, as in being saved or born again. It could mean that it but the context, ah the context suggest the idea of being rescued from some type of danger.

In my three score and five years I have never seen the spirit of fear so manifested as it is today in the church such that I am writing a book about it and the promises of Psalms 91.  Oh people are so afraid that California will slid into the ocean, floods of Biblical proportions will take place, martial law will be declared, the economy will completely collapse, terrorist will release a plague and hundreds of other disasters are out there just waiting for the Lord to say; “Go get ‘em.”  The only way to prevent it is to get the government to pass laws making everyone submit to our Christian values and of course that is not going to happen and I doubt very much that will prevent any judgment.

In the midst of all this the Bible tells us that the Lord is our light and salvation. Whom shall we fear, the Lord is the strength of our life of whom shall we be afraid?  I don’t know about you but that is good enough for me.

How do I draw comfort in knowing the Lord is my light. Just like the word human, there are many nuances to the word light in Hebrew or the word ‘or.  There is a long list of possible English words to plug in here but we need to find one to fit the context.  There is shine, daybreak, dawn, light of life, prosperity, instruction, clear bright, luminary, happiness, glorious, enlighten, to kindle, knowledge, revelation, That just in Christian literature, check out Jewish literature, you have all those words plus blinding, sparkling, isolate, take hold, collect, awaken, open, cover, cross over, analyze, cross over, expose, conceal and connect. I have just given you thirty possible English words.  One rabbi who is a linguistic expert tells us that if you consider all the possible English words you can apply to any one of the 7,500 three letter root words in the Classical or Biblical Hebrew particularly in their Semitic origins you can have up to thirty possible usages.

Which word applies, well pick a word that fits the context, more than one word?  Then let the Holy Spirit guide you to a word. I will not tell you the word I chose because that is between God and I. You choose your own word and let the Spirit of God lead you and I guarantee if it is from the Spirit of God it will bring you comfort.  But remember the Bible instructs you to seek and search with all your heart to find God and His personal message for you.” Deuteronomy 4:29.

Are you afraid of September 23? I’m not and you know why?  I spend more time in the Word of God listening to the voice of God than I do reading and listening to all the prophets of doom. Ok, I did teach speed reading in college and I read an average of 1,500 words a minute so I can plough through these conspiracy books at the rate of one every half hour. But with the word of God I am lucky to read one word per hour. That is because I feast on every Word of God’s Word.

You cover yourself with the Word of God and His presence and not even a Nephilim giant can bring you down.  And if the planet Nibiru causes the fault line running through Chicago to create a massive earthquake, then if I am not with God in heaven I will seize the opportunity to share God’s salvation with anyone who will listen and I suspect plenty will be ready to listen. Whom shall I fear and of whom shall I be afraid?  If you think something is going to happen a week from Wednesday, then it is still not too late to prepare, you have plenty of time to put on the whole armor of God.
